Waterside Security
NavSim Services Inc. (NSI) has been involved with Waterside Surveillance
Systems and Technology since our inception in 2001. The NavSim viewing,
other Port Authority or homeland security identified locations where
Waterside Surveillance is needed. The system is based on a design
developed for the Washington Navy Yard consisting primarily of
Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components.  The system consists of
commercial Radar units; Thermal Image and CCTV cameras; PC NavSim
Services Inc. (NSI) has been involved with Waterside Surveillance
computers and monitors; a commercial VTMS software package produced
by Transas Marine; and custom software and proprietary interface
products. NavSim Services has been involved in the installation of four
complete Waterside Surveillance and Security Systems. These systems
vary in configuration as each is based on specific customer requirements.
