The FLETC Marine Simulation Laboratory consists of 24 student marine simulators and 6 instructor stations. The simulators are configured into six pods with four student stations and one instructor station per pod. Each student station can be manned by one student or a team of two. Each student station consists of three visual channels (120° HFOV), a conning screen, radar, electronic chart system, wheel and throttle.
The Marine Simulation Laboratory is utilized in the Marine Law Enforcement Training Program (MLETP) and the Boat Operators Anti-Terrorism Training Program (BOAT).
